Around Seattle

There are three National Parks within 2-3 hours of drive from Seattle.

Mt Rainier National Park

Mount Rainier National Park is suitable for either a day trip or a 2–3 day trip, depending on which areas and trails you plan to explore. Please note that timed-entry reservations may be required during peak summer months.

Fun Fact: Mount Rainier is an active stratovolcano that last erupted about 1,000 years ago.

Olympic National Park

It is recommended to reserve 2-4 days if you plan to travel to the Olympic National Park. 

Fun Fact: The Twilight Saga is set in Forks, WA, located near Olympic National Park.
